Follow-up Team

Purpose
The purpose of the Follow-up Team is to keep in touch with those who have indicated that they wish to be contacted via email, phone calll, letter etc., also keeping in contact with those who have moved on. In doing this, Impact hopes to establish accountability and growth, and create accountability in our Christian walk, which allows us to develop our relationships with one another by encouraging and building each other up.

Welcoming Team

The job of the Welcoming Team is to establish an environment where Impact regular attendees and visitors feel welcomed just as they are, with men greeting men and women greeting women. This is accomplished through the building and fostering of relationships, providing the greeting table as a hub for Impact information and Christian resources, and providing support for Impact leaders.

Communication Team

Purpose
• Present information (printed & verbal) in easy to read/eye catching/easy to understand format
• Provide consistent publications of Impact information that are seamless to congregation
• Facilitate the communication of prayer requests & praises to Prayer/Response Team and Impact Congregation
• Get the word out & get the Word out!

Responsibilities
• Weekly Bulletin
• Weekly Impact Reminder Emails
• Impact Calendar/Schedule of Events
• Manage the Impact Hotmail & Yahoo accounts
• Flyers/Posters for Special Occasions
• Business Cards
• Weekly Announcements (be support to the Service Planning Team)

Worship Team

Team Leader: Keith Spencer

Purpose
• Worship God
• Lead the Impact congregation in worship
• Challenge and improve the musical abilities of the group
• Foster love and support between members
• Take the message of Jesus outside our 4 walls
• To rock. To groove. To get funky.

Involvement
The worship team is an ideal ministry for those who have excellent musical abilities, who are willing/able to make a big time commitment and who have a great attitude. The team meets each Monday for rehearsal & prayer, leads worship each Friday, and participates in outside events from time to time. Its focus is to worship God and to help others worship God.

Service Coordination Team
Core Value: Freedom & Authenticity in Worship
Team Leader: Melissa Spencer

The purpose of this team is to plan and create a service:
1. that has the least amount of distractions as possible.
2. where all the parts are cohesive including multimedia, special music, and skits.
3. that is flexible for God to do what He wants to do.

Responsibilities
• To plan each service, making sure that all parts of the program are taken care of.
• To be in communication with the worship leader about the sermon topic and service ideas.
• To make and distribute a service schedule to all people involved on the night of the service.
• To make sure that each week's schedule is a guide rather than a concrete program so God can do what He wants to in each service.
• To communicate announcements to the congregation during the service.
• To plan multimedia that adds to the service and compliments the sermon topic.

Prayer & Response Team
Core Value: Prayer
Team Leaders: Matthew & Camille Guerrero
Prayer Time: Every Friday 6:30-7:00 pm

Team members are involved in:
• Committing Friday evenings to God, including prayer for Speaker, Worship Team, and waiting on the Lord.
• Praying for souls to be won and solid authentic commitments to be made.
• Praying for Impact Leadership Team.
• Praying during the week for the Impact prayer requests collected each Friday night.
• Praying with those who have come forward for mercy seat ministry on Friday night, as needed.
